Most of Blip’s training is bought this way. A school books a twilight for the whole staff. A fostering service books a carers’ day and, separately, the half day for the people who supervise them. A local authority commissions a programme across a year.
The advantage of a closed room is that people say things they would not say in an open course. The case material can be yours, the safeguarding route can be the one your staff actually use, and the day can be scheduled where it fits your calendar rather than ours.
How a booking works

Tell us what you need
The course, roughly how many people, on site or online, and the term you have in mind. A rough number is enough to start.

We quote properly
A written quote against your actual numbers and location, usually within one working day. Not a rate card and not a range.

We adapt the content
Case material is rewritten to your setting where you want it, and the jurisdiction is set to Wales or England before anything is printed.

You get the evidence
Register, knowledge check scores and anonymised evaluation results come back to you after the delivery, not on request.
Indicative rates
For a group of up to 20 delegates. Travel is included within Shropshire, Cheshire, Powys and the Wrexham and Oswestry area, and charged at cost beyond it. These are starting figures, not a rate card: the real number depends on numbers, venue and how much of the content you want rewritten to your setting.

No travel, and the same materials. Group sizes are the same.
Courses that are better booked as a pair
Blocked care is the clearest example. A foster carer will not say they have stopped feeling anything for a child in front of the person who writes their annual review, so the carers’ day and the half day for supervising staff are separate rooms on purpose. Services that book both get a consistent vocabulary on both sides of the table, and we quote for the pair.
The same applies to the KCSIE twilight alongside a full safeguarding day, and to trauma informed practice where managers should not be in the room with their own staff.
Welsh language
Blip’s current trainers deliver in English. Where a booking requires Welsh medium delivery, we arrange a Welsh speaking associate trainer or a qualified interpreter, agreed in advance and at no additional cost to the participant. Bilingual written materials are produced by professional translation for Welsh Government funded contracts, and we will tell you plainly which courses are already translated and which are not.
Frameworks and tenders
Where a commissioner funds a programme of courses, pricing is agreed for the programme rather than per course. Blip holds professional indemnity and public liability cover, ICO registration, and a full policy library, and can supply the usual due diligence pack on request.
