About

Senior clinicians dedicated to child and adolescent mental health

A Blip clinician working in a warm, bright home office

Blip's clinical leadership is headed by Vivien Beni RMN, a registered mental health nurse with over fifteen years of experience in child and adolescent mental health services. Vivien spent her career working within CAMHS, first as a clinician, then as a senior nurse and service lead. She built Blip around the things families consistently told her mattered most: prompt access to care, a consistent therapeutic relationship, and clear honest communication throughout.

Viv is a Registered Mental Health Nurse and specialist educator with over 15 years of experience across specialist education, acute care, crisis intervention, and NHS CAMHS. She has specialist expertise in looked-after children, youth justice, and complex neurodivergent profiles including ASD, ADHD, and additional learning needs. A proven safeguarding practitioner, she has led multi-agency panels, coordinated complex care pathways, and conducted high-acuity risk assessments for self-harm and risk to others. She delivers DBT, trauma-focused CBT, and advanced attachment training to families and professionals. As an NMC Practice Supervisor and Assessor, she has mentored student nurses, preceptees, and healthcare workers throughout her career.

The Blip clinical team is drawn entirely from the NHS. Every psychiatrist, psychologist, and nurse who works with us has held a substantive NHS post. They understand NHS systems, NHS standards, and NHS thinking, and they have chosen to work privately because they want to practise without the constraints that prevent excellent care. Blip does not employ locums, does not use trainees as lead clinicians, and does not run high-volume lists that leave no time to think. Every family gets a clinician who is genuinely invested in the outcome.

Blip supports children, adolescents and young adults aged 7 to 25. We are completing registration with the Care Quality Commission and are transparent about our clinical governance. We measure outcomes using validated tools and intend to publish aggregated outcome data annually. Our mission is straightforward: better mental health outcomes for children and young people, delivered in a way that is clinically excellent, practically accessible, and financially sustainable.
