I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including person-centred, CBT, DBT-informed and trauma-informed practice, adapting the work to the individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I am particularly interested in helping people become curious about what is happening for them, not only what they are thinking and feeling, but how those experiences show up in their bodies, relationships and patterns of behaviour.

Lisa is an experienced counsellor who brings over 17 years of experience supporting children, young people and families through trauma, bereavement, loss and complex life experiences. Her approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion and a belief that understanding what lies beneath our thoughts, feelings and behaviours can be an important part of creating change. She works integratively, drawing on person-centred, CBT, DBT-informed and trauma-informed approaches, adapting therapy to the individual. Alongside her counselling practice, Lisa manages a therapeutic service and is a director of a community counselling CIC. She is a MNCPS (Accredited) counsellor and a member of BACP.
